This file explains all details to design new "skins" for the game Bloobs 95. Here you will find all graphics files information about size, format and elements position in order to be able to design by your own new graphics for the game. ENJOY WITH YOUR OWN DESIGNS!!! 1) The files format has to be jpeg. It is mandatory, the game doesn´t load another graphics format. 2.-Topics to design. In the game you can design 3 different topics: "Backgrounds". As many backgrounds as you want. The original game has 10 but you can design all you want 10, 20, 10000, ... "Wellcome screens". There are 2 different "wellcome screens" one for Easy level (and easy level highscore table), and for Hard level (and its highscore table). "Danger Bar". There is jus one "Danger Bar". It is always in the right-side of the screen and has two scores in the down side too. 3.- How to DO IT 3.1.- BACKGROUNDS: 1) The file name has to be "fondo*.jpg". "*" is whatever you want. The original version of the game has these files (fondo0.jpg, fondo1.jpg,.......), but it could be "fondoMyHome.jpg", "fondoXXXX.jpg". 2) The image format has to have 450x460 pixels of size. 3) The final border (line to check if you lose the game) has to be in the 375 pixel starting from the top of the graphic. You can draw a horizontal line here or design whatever you want (fire, nails,...). 4) The center of the cannon is in 221x420 position. You can to draw whatever you want in this position. In the original version there is a circle to show the cannon movement. This is a very important zone because here is the current bullet-piece. 5) The "NEXT" piece is shown in a rectangle between positions 413x408 and 438x433. In the original version this area doesn´t have any graphic element and pieces are floating over the wall. You can desing holes, tubes, etc... your imagination set the limits. 3.2.- WELLCOME SCREENS 1) This topic is OPTIONAL to design. There are skins just with "Backgrounds" (mandatory) and with "Danger Bar" but without "Wellcome Screens". 2) The file names are "pareda.jpg" for easy level and "paredb.jpg" for hard level. 3) Look that both files has different designs in order to show easy or hard highscores table. 4) Both files has to have 442x461 pixels of size. 5) Both files has to have the name of the game "Bloobs PC". 3.3.- DANGER BAR 1) This topic is OPTIONAL to design. There are skins just with "Backgrounds" (mandatory) and with "Wellcome Screens" but without "Danger Bar". 2) The file name has to be "banda.jpg" 3) The file has to have 95x456 pixels of size. 4.- Zipping & sending Skins You have to zip: 1.- All "fondo*.jpg" you have designed 2.- "pareda.jpg" & "paredb.jpg" you have designed. OPTIONAL 3.- "banda.jpg" you have designed. OPTIONAL 4.- A file named "Readme.txt" with your name or nickname, Theme name of your designs, and everything you want to say to Bloobs players that download your skins. You can to send to dabutens@geocities.com an e-mail with: 1.- The zip file with the name you want to add it to Bloobs web page OR 2.- The link information to add it to Bloobs web page.
